In a home studio in one of the remotest places on the planet, Jeremy Conlon is busy bringing to life his latest incarnation of Cooperblack, heavy on the synths, crushed drums, pop hooks and falsetto outputting “desert electro-pop”, if that’s even a thing.

The 2017 release “Capsule” EP takes travel recordings of environmental soundscapes and morphs them subtley into darker, dancer and quieter musical offerings, with a definite European edge. Return to The Big Eyes (2016) was his first release in a few years, and received airplay around Australia on many community radio stations, as well as a performance at the 2016 Wide Open Spaces Festival.

A new and final clip for the EP’s track “Come Down” will also be released in Feb 2017.
